Rename the .ND and .TLG files – regardless of the network issue, naming these files will create new .ND and .TLG files in the system when you open the company file. If either of these files is corrupted, then your problem will be solved by following this step. You can continue using the QuickBooks software once the new files are generated.


Restore the Backup – if there is an issue with your network in the system, then you can restore the system to a point where everything works fine. Yes, restoring the system to a point where everything works is a great idea.
